    Back in February…

Here are some of the cards I made for Valentine’s Day this year. Nothing too exciting but I wanted to focus on cards that were relatively easy to replicate. The very first card was an inspiration from a card made by Kristina Werner a year or two ago. Back in January I had the pleasure…

    While on Hiatus…

Although I have been away for quite a few months, I still kept myself busy with various projects. It’s a new year and it is time for a new start and goals for this blog! Many thanks to those who have checked in from time to time! Here’s to 2014!

  • Thoughtful Thursday: Happy Birthday (call me when it’s time for cake)

Thoughtful Thursday: Happy Birthday (call me when it’s time for cake)

Definitely one of the more masculine birthday cards I’ve made. I brought out an old Stampin’ Up! stamp set called “Afterthoughts”. I believe this was a hostess gift from my first order. I decided to keep the card really simple. I used washi tape for the background in different sizes and patterns. The first and…

  • Happy Birthday Robot

If you can’t tell, I’m loving the Inktense pencils. That’s what I used for the background. The robot is from Hero Arts Far Out Holiday mini stamp set. I just cut off the Christmas trees that were on the robot’s head. The sentiment is from Hero Arts Many Birthday Messages stamp set.

  • Happy Mother’s Day

As you can see there isn’t a Thoughtful Thursday this week. It just so happens that the cards I made for it are going to be given away this weekend and I don’t want them to see it just yet…it’s a surprise. I’ll post pictures after. Here are two Mother’s Day cards I made for…

  • Better Late Than Never: Thoughtful Thursday: Bright Silly Happy

Apologies for the delay on this series this month. Had work late last night and bumming it around the apartment has caught up with me. Here’s the card I made for this week. When I purchased the Inktense pencils last week I played around on a piece of watercolor paper to get a feel for…
