My cousin asked me to help make a card for her friend’s 30th birthday…and this is what I came up with. Inside reads: “…is the new 20”. Here I used my Cricut Expression and Design Studio to create the template of the card. I used the Plantin’ Schoolbook cartridge for this card. I then cut out a 3 and a 0 on patterned paper and adhered it with some foam dimensionals. I embossed “birthday wishes” in the front and added a heart sticker for the extra “girly” touch.
This by far is my favorite card! It was also my first circular card! It took a lot longer than I anticipated, but it was well worth it! My friend’s sister was turning 16 and she asked me to help make her a card. I originally wanted to make the card exactly like the “30” card above…but of course it’ll read 1-6 instead. But I didn’t want to run it through my Cricut Expression…my laziness definitely kicked in. I decided I wanted to use my new Crate Paper Restoration 6×6 paper pad…so I came up with this design. I also used Sassafras’ new Count Me In Wee Bundle Paper Pad. I’ll probably be making many circular cards during the holiday season since it resembles an ornament =]
